Maine's beautiful coastline can best be admired from the water. In July of 1998 I booked a three-day kayaking excursion with Mainesport Outfitters. This trip covered 20 miles and 15 islands. Along the way we camped on two islands and stopped for lunch on another two. The wildlife was spectacular: harbour seals, ospray, and sandpipers. We were lucky to have sunny weather and 75 degree temperatures. The trip log gives an event-by-event listing of everything we did and ate. The pictures are nice too. Enjoy.
